Platinum Press Release

Gemini Accident Repair Centres attains Platinum membership by the 5% Club!

Gemini ARC is delighted to announce that we have been awarded Platinum accredited membership through the 5% Club’s 2023-24 Employer Audit Scheme. This award acknowledges our substantial commitment to the ongoing development of all our Employees through our Apprenticeship Programmes. The 5% Club is a dynamic movement of employer members working to create shared prosperity across the UK by driving ‘earn and learn’ skills training.

As ‘The 5% Club’ celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year, it introduced the elite “top” tier of Platinum Membership attainable through the Employer Audit Scheme. With Apprenticeships being an important part of Gemini’s future, this new achievement is a direct result of our Gold Membership success over the past three years. Currently, we proudly have 14% of Gemini employees actively participating in “earning and learning” apprenticeship programmes, far exceeding the 10% benchmark we set.

Out of a select group of 180 audit participants, only 30 Employers, including Gemini Accident Repair Centres, met the Platinum Standard, placing us in the esteemed top 3 percent of the 5% Club members achieving this top-level status.

At Gemini, our apprenticeship programmes are tailored to our unique needs, featuring specialised Multiskilled and Vehicle Damage Assessor courses designed exclusively for our business. This customisation ensures that we remain pioneers in the realm of ‘earning and learning’. Additionally, we offer a range of other courses that are accessible to employees already in various roles within the company. Our dedication to investing in our employees led us to join the 5% Club, a dynamic collective of employers committed to fostering increased, inclusive, and accessible workplace training for all.

With a membership which now surpasses 900 companies, The 5% Club represents over 1.6 million employees, 101,000 engaged in “earn and learn” schemes. The Employer Audit is an exceptional scheme which validates the employers’ activities, explores their future plans and commitments, as well as examining their approaches to quality, social mobility, diversity and inclusion.
