Gemini is nothing without great staff! We look to keep good people and develop their skills to shape the business and encourage employees to be appreciated. Our work force has two main volumes of staff; technical and customer service, and in addition, management. We take recruitment/selection very seriously, so mutually the right choices and decisions are made. Apprenticeships are key to prepare for the future, so our programmes go over and beyond everyone’s expectation! That is why Gemini decide the content and goals of our Apprenticeship programmes. The industry already recognises Gemini have set the bar for others to aspire and to achieve!

When I started in this trade, I was a trainee/apprentice myself, in all my years of experience and training, I have reached a level where I wanted to contribute back to the people who are starting where I started and use my experience to help them and guide them onto a successful career path.

Since starting with Gemini, I have been working with the training and development team supporting all technicians and apprentice employees to gain further development and qualifications. My previous roll was working with Nottingham college where I was a collaborator with Gemini creating their bespoke apprenticeship programme. This apprenticeship is unlike any I have seen in my years of education as Gemini truly see the importance of training and input this throughout the company, not only focusing on the future of their workforce but also continually working with current staff to ensure they are motivated and progressing. I can say that Gemini have people at the heart of their business and this is some evident from continuous staff achievements and the moral of all staff within the business. We work directly with all staff members as well as making worthwhile and positive collaborations with industry recognised partners to assist with all our training needs and support measures.
