Gemini Achieves IMI Approved Centre Status

From Monday 19th June, Gemini received the full formal announcement approval of “Approved Centre” confirmation from the IMI by Adrian Marshall MIMI (External Quality Manager).

This is truly exciting news, paving the way for the future approach for Gemini to develop and deliver most of its own training development, qualifications, and CPD deliveries.

Our Training team has been working alongside the IMI over several months, developing the standard of training to be delivered to our Technicians and VDA’s. This strategy will ensure we are future-proofing the Gemini business for the everchanging technology and processes within vehicle accident repair. As we convert fully to BS10125:2022 and fully embrace CPD as the solution post “first time qualification achievements, we intend to change our world by providing compliance and increasing training engagement with all our staff members.

Moving forward with this exciting development, we have established partnership collaborations developing constructively to produce our vision.

What does all this mean? We are on track towards rolling out our comprehensive CPD training packages to staff during 2024 to follow the achievement of initial first-time qualifications/Accreditations.  Deliveries are expected to utilise a range of technological methods to accomplish assessed outcomes, and fundamentally will be centered around where possible, the location of work for individual staff members.

We wish to thank all involved at the IMI who have worked closely with the Gemini Training team to reach this major step for our business.
