GEMINI ACCIDENT REPAIR GROUP TO TAKE ON MOUNT SNOWDON FOR THE BEN CHARITY
Gemini Accident Repair Centres have announced the ‘BEN’ charity as one of their charity partners of choice this year! After raising an impressive £2,403.75 in 2022 through fundraising activities for BEN, this year the team has decided to raise funds and promote ‘BEN’ by taking on a team challenge of hiking Mount Snowdon to reach Yr Wyddfa peak, the highest mountain in England, and Wales at 1085m.
October 14th, 2023 will see Gemini Accident Repairs employees from across the UK come together to take on the challenge of the famous Llanberis path at Snowdon to reach the summit. While the Llanberis path is the longest route, the team is hoping to do the round trip in 6 hours, traveling 14.5 km. Reaching the summit of Yr Wyddfa is a challenging undertaking, and the team is working hard to improve their fitness levels and navigation skills, with updates being shared in the run-up to the event across LinkedIn.
Managing Director, David Sargeant, Gemini Accident Repairs is excited about this event and commented “We are looking forward to raising awareness of what ‘BEN’ does for the industry and making a real difference. What better way to achieve team success and charity awareness, than through a challenge all can be involved with? The challenge allows staff from all over the UK, across different departments and disciplines to come together and be able to openly talk to one another in a unique way of challenging ourselves.”.
Gemini Accident Repairs highly values the support service offered by ‘BEN’, with the charity being reachable by all who work for Gemini and those who work or have worked in the automotive industry. ‘BEN’ supports individuals to navigate through life’s challenges, empowering them to make positive, lasting changes and providing a resource for anyone suffering from mental health issues.
