Nottingham College Apprenticeship Awards

Gemini Accident Repair Centres have partnered with EMTEC and Nottingham College, leading providers of quality apprenticeships and training programs for the last six years.

On Tuesday 23rd May 2023, Nottingham College hosted the highly anticipated Apprenticeship Awards ceremony and Gemini Accident Repair group was delighted to be in attendance for another year, celebrating a wonderful evening, centered around the achievements of apprentices and the positive impact apprenticeships have across society.

The Apprenticeship Awards showcase the dedication and success of apprentices and recognise the crucial role played by employers, managers, mentors, and tutors in defining the achievements of apprentices.

We were delighted that on the evening, the Apprentice Champion of the Year Award was awarded to Gemini’s Managing Director, Dave Sargeant.

It was highlighted that Dave’s dedication, exemplified by his role as Chairman of the AutoRaise charity and the force behind Gemini’s remarkable apprenticeship achievements sets him apart as a true champion of apprenticeships. Dave continues to lead from the front in the apprenticeship realm, nurturing young talent into the accident repair industry.

The team at Gemini would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dave Sargeant, for this well-deserved win.

Over the past six years, the training programs at Gemini Accident Repair have made significant developments, and Gemini has seen nearly 100 apprentices be onboarded into lifelong career pathways. EMTEC and Nottingham College have played a pivotal role in the successful development and implementation of the multiskills and VDA apprentice offerings, and without the College’s contributions, the apprenticeship programs would not have achieved the remarkable success they have today.

Gemini extends its congratulations and thanks to all the winners from the Apprenticeship Awards evening and all the shortlisted candidates for their accomplishments.
